POW! Introduces Brag Bucks
In response to requests to learn more about one another by POW! attendees, the POW! Committee introduced Brag Bucks at the September luncheon.  Brag Bucks gives attendees the opportunity to stand up and say something about themselves personally or professionally. To participate, attendees simply place at least $1 in the Brag Bucks basket and then take the floor.  Brag Bucks will become part of every POW! luncheon going forward. All of the money collected during Brag Bucks will be donated to Mutual Ground in Aurora.

New
Member Dinner
Hopefully you were able to attend the New Member Dinner to recognize the 137 new members of our Chamber.  It was a pleasure to see 137 new members at the Dinner and watch them receive their Oswego Chamber of Commerce plaque to proudly display at their businesses.  Those who attended voted on whether the election of the Board of Directors should be given back to the membership.  The votes have been tallied and the membership approved giving the vote of the election of the Board of Directors back to the general membership.
