New Teachers' Breakfast
The New Teachers’ Breakfast will take place on Monday, August 20th at Oswego East High School at 8:00 a.m. Our Chamber is delighted to meet the 200 teachers at the start of their orientation week with the Oswego School District. Sponsorships for as little as $25, $50 and $125 are still available. Profits from this event will be deposited into a scholarship fund which will be awarded during the 2007-2008 school year to a student participating in the work study or internship program. While promoting your business, you are also supporting a great cause, EDUCATION!
Organized Bike Ride
Join us for the 3rd annual Organized Bike Ride on Sunday, August 19th, 2007! The Road Ride options are 25, 50, 75, or 100 miles long. Road Riders can depart as early as 6:30 a.m. The Family Ride options are 3 or 7 miles. Family Riders can depart as early as 9:00 a.m. All Riders start and end at Mill Race Cyclery, located at 26 Main St. in downtown Oswego. The Ride will come to a close by 4:30 p.m. There are T-shirts available for the first 100 Road Riders and 100 Family Riders that register.
